Depending on where you are, receeption is either very poor or non existent. In fact in seems to be that way all over Greenfield with Verizon. They even have an office in the center of town that I drive by every day. The bars seem to go down the closer I get to the office..

Have to stand in driveway or upstairs near window to get reception. Often the call will drop in those places as well. Having a long conversation is out of the question... .Most cell conversations consist of me giving the person my home number and telling them to call me there.

I have always had service with Cingular at my home until they upgrated my service in August 2004. They also installed a new cell tower 3 miles up the road. The entire Wilton Rd.gets service, except for about a 1 mile stretch, which of coarse is the area where I live. I am trying to find a phone that will pick up a signal or a different company. I will have to PAY to cancel my service that I cannot use at home? Kids are home from college and my land line long distance bill is sky high due to not be able to use our family talk or long distance Cingular plan.
