No reception at Somerset Lake - this is a problem since the lake area is home to a lot of Verizon customers. Reception ends at Smiths Motel which is 2.5 miles south of Hancock on Rt 97.

Only old Nokia 5100's (tdma) work here. Have seen all new cingular / verizon phones tried here and all get no signal. Cingular is taking down towers for these old tdma phones. No other options given from them.

Reception seems to depend on how the wind is blowing. Basically, it is incredibly lousy.
