5 bars mean nothing,! the recieved calls are weak and transmission voices break up all the time,basicly it stinks.

Since last year reception around Hastings has been fairly good except near Burke Field and Broadway.

Get 3 bars even in the basement near the window.

We had T-Mobile and the reception was pretty bad at home. We switched to Verizon Wireless after talking with many people. Reception at home is just as bad if not worse than before. Hastings on Hudson, and the rivertowns in general, have bad reception. I'm looking into a signal booster for the house.

Overall okay reception. Sometimes the phone will not ring when someone calls.
