Service has NEVER worked inside my house, but works great in the City where I use it the most.

Response from Verizonwireless has not been satisfactory.

My signal drops like crazy when driving on Woodbury Rd.(SW). I can have a full signal and 2 seconds later 0 signal. Dropped call like you would not imagine! I spoke to several representatives and the one explanation that made the most sense to me was that the firehouse that is a few blocks from my home may be the cause. If many cell users are on at same time (due to emergency calls etc) may cause other already connected lines to drop. Ok... But it still stinks, very frustrating!

Nextel reception is awful on Newbridge Road, from Old Country Rd.south to Hempstead Tpke. Rumor is Nextel is adding antennas on a water tower on Newbridge Road. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Bad reception inside my house, usually 1 bar. Once outside on the street it increases to 2 bars.

Pretty good, it works better in places that I didn't think would (Hunter Mt and Mt. Snow, full strength) but it has it's days, Bad days, I get Call Fail and have to retry a handful of times even though it tells me I have almost full reception strength. The V66 was even worst, plus I had to send the phone back 3 times because it kept turning itself off.
