Pretty bad reception. On the main roads it isn't too bad, but get off the highways and it is terrible. Would not recommend for anyone that would be dependent on their cell and live off of / spend a lot of time off the beaten path.

No reception to bad reception in some spots

beware T mobile was told upon activation this area was covered. not one single call made during my 2 year contract! no bars ever. I pay a fortune for the service and can only use it 1 / 2 the week while in the city customer service is the worst

The incoming sound quality is fairly good but the person on the other end of the call has tremendous difficulty hearing me and the sound breaks up badly. The road rises to about 1100 feet in 1 / 2 mile and I get 2-3 bars at that altitude. Unfortunately, I have to walk or sit in my car to that point to get improved reception. The good news is that Verizon will be constructing a cell phone tower in Kerhonkson in the near future.

After getting my family plan we discover the reception in our area is poor to none. Never bothered to inform me. Can't use voice mail because it shares a tower with Cell one, so we roam. The only way to get our voice mail, we just found out after a dozen phone calls, is to hit the star key when message is played and than put in last 4 digits of your phone # Yeah fab 5 is great except most of the time you can't utilize it, unless you get in your car and drive. My advice is Stay Clear of T Mobile... ... the absolute worse!

The only good thing about not getting T mobile service in Kerhonkson is you don't have to put up with their dropped calls and lousy sound quality -- you don't hear anything at all!

Cellular one works well in this area.

Have to drive miles to get any reception. This is a fast growing second home market for New Yorkers. When will cellphone carriers get the picture?
