I purchased a new phone a year ago because AT&T tole me it was the phone. A year later and NO reception in my home and I dropped my land line. AT&T wants me to get anotehr new phone and lock into another 2 year contract. And they tell me serviced is not guaranteed. What am I paying for? Iam DONE with AT& and its worth paying to break the contract

t mobile stinks, I have great signal everywhere, except at home

I thought if I left AT&T and went to Nextel I might have no reception problems, But that did not happen! The only phone service around here that works is Verizon. I don't want to buy a cellular repeater for my house for Nextel service as they cost about $400.00 and why should I help someone else's service. I think it would be great if say Sprint / Nextel offered to pay for at least half the cost of the repeater. Eddie in Lake Grove, NY

My phone usually only has one strong bar, or 2 at the most, however, the signal is always strong and the calls never drop. I really think its the area, cuz once I hit central islip on my daily LIRR trip I get full service. My friend who has Verizon near me also has the same service. My friend who has Cingular actually has better service, which irks me cuz I had Cingular for 2 years and had hardly ANY service in my house, which allowed me to accumulate 9000 rollover minutes over two years

I almost never have reception problems, with the exception of my house. Could it be all the phone lines above ground in the area knocking out the service? Mostly good service outdoors, indoors is questionable depending on the area. Suffolk in general sucks for service when your indoors, I do however remember somoeone telling me a code you can use on t-mobile that improves service slightly but cant remember it, was like hit star then some nmbers then pund and send, anyone know about that?
