Tmobile had good coverage at one time but their coverage has become poor. Only Edge in the Maybrook area no 3G and reception is something to be desired. I wish they would improve and update the towers to 3G. The reception is two bars and three around the village of Maybrook. It appears Verizon has the best coverage in area and AT&T a distant second. Hopefully if the T-Mobile and ATT merger will improve reception in the area.

My phones usually has 3 bars of service through out the village of Maybrook. The signal increases as you go North of the village toward I-84. South of the village as you travel to Route 207 the Signal is decent with two bars. Verizon costs more than all the other carriers but makes up for it by having the best signal in the area. Furthermore the mobile web on my Blackberry is decent. When I had T-Mobile it was slow. I've had other carriers but no one has a more consistent signal than Verizon. Verizon isn't perfect but beats out the competition.

I have AT&T and it's works good in the area. I usually get 2 or 3 bars in the area. Driving south on Route 208 the service cuts in and out by Forrester Road. Otherwise the reception is good in the Village. I had sprint / nextel and the service worked well with direct connect but the phone calls were terrible. AT&T may not be the best but they do have the most towers in Orange County.

The reception in this area is average. I get 3 to 2 bars and a few dropped calls from time to time. I use Blackberry server email and it works good in this area. When traveling to the major areas of the county ex: Newburgh,Middletown and Woodbury. The cell service is good. In the other areas of the county, the service can be spotty. I had cellular one and it worked great but limited service when I traveled. So I went to Tmobile. I then thought of switching back to Cellularone but AT&T bought them out. Now the rates are higher and in my opinion AT&T customer service is the worst. I guess I'll stay with T-Mobile until something better comes along.

The service in Country Club Heights is fairly good. I get 4 to 2 signal bars. North on Route 208 towards I-84 (Montgomery), the signal gets stronger. The T-Mobile tower is located near I-84. South on Route 208 towards center of Maybrook village the signal weakens a bit. Driving to Middletown or Newburgh the signal is strong. I had Verizon and switched to T-Mobile because I hated their customer service. In addition I get more minutes for the same amount of money. If I have one signal bar on Tmobile; it's still better than having 2 signal bars on verizon. In my opinion GSM service which Tmobile,Cingular,Cellularone use is better than CDMA service that verizon, Sprint utilizes.

I use Boost mobile which is powered by Nextel, and I think on some days it depends on which way the wind is blowing as to how good my reception is while here at home. Some days I go back and forth from practically no bars, to full bars. Most days I'm happy with the service however...
