2 bars in most spots, 3 if standing outside. Constantly drop calls inside. Can maintain them outside. I bought a network extender for $100 on eBay and I have 5 stars. Sucks to pay for better service but the only option is a landline, and that'll cost more in the end. I think it's the area / hills because people visiting with Sprint dropped calls too.

This site went from my zip code (12962) to Burlington, Vt. Pretty sad. So, at home, the coverage is great of I stand at the front bay window to my home. The signal is terrible here and along the US / Canadian border in both northern Vermont and New York.

reception ranges from 3 or 4 bars, then occasionally drops off to 0 or 1! Usually right after you answer a call! You can watch it happen on your phone. Why is this? When we first got Verizon phones, it worked great, then gradually became worse. We've learned certain good and bad spots inside and outside. We used to have Unicel service, but it became absolutely terrible and their service was even worse! We dropped them. Verizon is the best, but it is not perfect here.
