We've had a number of phones in the past 8 years or so most of which had poor to no service inside our home. Then we bought the LG 8600 in 12 / 2006. Well, we were pleasantly surprised by the great signal we were getting. The previous phone was a LG 4200 and we always seemed to have to be in certain places of the house, like by the front door or upstairs in a particular bedroom. The problem now however is that after a year of owning the LG 8600 we are now back to square one with regard to signal which is barely and only in certain places in the house. The only thing we can think of is that we had some serious wind storms in Nov of 2007 and since then it seems we have this problem. We've contacted Verizon and the support isn't bad... they at least hear our concerns, but as far as action, well that's another story. It's disappointing, buying these upgraded phones and now we're back to the same poor signal that we had previously. Moving backward is never easy, but by the looks, most other services are experiencing the same problems. My signal at my job is excellent however which is in North Bergen NJ, and also where I spend most of my life. But it would be nice to have good signal inside the house, especially when it's 10 degrees or lower outside...

most of the town you get good service, but you go into target. A very weak signal.

To reply to Tinker St. / Tannery Brook Rd. intersection Woodstock, NY 12498 YES - although my reception is "perfect" right now, I'm roaming in my own home. The past week or so has been very sketchy.

Not stable reception here in the building... on and off.
