Cell reception for the entire campus has more holes than a chain link fence. In general there is very poor service everywhere. I have never gotten more than 3 bars of reception, and more frequently have none at all.
Cingular has reception but the quality is poor, the phone will not stay connected for more than a few minutes when it shows full service yet out of nowhere it just disconnects. I have tried switching to selecting the service manually to either cell-one or T-Mobile and its the same thing. Im thinking maybe my phone is just terrible.
Not bad. Have no tried to go further into the village yet or the college. I am afraid to go down to starbucks and the bar area. but I'll post the reception when I get down there.
Often drops out completely inside my house. Switches to analog too often. I occasionally get decent reception outside. Verizon needs to beef up their service here.
