Tmobile has horrible service. I have to go outside on the corner to get coverage. Many complaints about sketchy service, but no improvements. Verizon and Sprint are only providers that work throughout the entire building. Was this review helpful to you?
I get coverage whenever I am outside. But as soon as I step into a building, it goes downhill from there. Was this review helpful to you?
Iphone 4S many many dropped calls -- even standing beside window..also right outside the building. Verizon said "yes the area you are in has marginal cell coverage" VZ recommended a cell phone extender for $250! Said they are limited in the number of cell towers by NYC regulations - which I think is NOT true! I am thing about switching carriers -- maybe VZ in manhattan is just too popular so after 20+ years I may just make the switch! Was this review helpful to you?
I live in UWS and both my boyfriend and I have T-mobile. The coverage in the apartment is bad -- most of the time, the person I'm talking to can't hear me or I can't hear them and the call drops in 10min.Was this review helpful to you?
Service is terrible. 90% of the time I get no service at all. The phone has been replaced twice, the problem is obviously with ATT. I am dumping their service and going with Verizon. Was this review helpful to you?
Terrible reception. Signal drops from 3G with 3-4 bars to stupid 'roaming' circle icon with 1 bar at the EXACT time I want to send a text, email, or YouTube. Was this review helpful to you?
I have never gotten a signal in my building on AT&T. I've had the service for over 5 years now. The first year it worked and one morning I woke up and it just said no reception. Now with hurricane sandy my time warner service was down and I was completely screwed. I just don't understand how they claim to have the best network and coverage but in the most important city in the world there are dead spots all over. Verizon, sprint, t-mobile, and virgin mobile all get signals in my apt but not AT&T. Very patheticWas this review helpful to you?
Reception in this are is almost nonexistent for an AT&T customer. My oonstant complaints have caused the carrier to discount my monthly bill on several occasions. Due to the poor service, they have gone as far as cutting my data fee in half for as long as I remain a customer. Was this review helpful to you?
Day 5 and still can't connect to network. Issue started October 1, 2012. Can't call out, receive calls or texts. Sprint said towers in this area were being messed with because of Verizon. Ticket was closed today at 1pm and now it's AT&T that's effecting service. Sprint claims the issue is the local exchange server. VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least! Manhattan and Bronx NY are affected. However, not all users are having issues... weird! Was this review helpful to you?
I have never had the AT&T problems so often heard about. My service in NYC is good. Once in a while, I'm in a building where it almost seems blocked, yet hundreds of of locations, it's fine. I think it's fair to say that is typical of all providers. Hearing AT&T customers say they get 99% call drops, bad connection, unusable makes me laugh. Also, excellent service while driving. 3G music services to my car radio, excellent. Travel to Minnesota, Rhode Island, Florida, North Carolina, great. Can't speak to the other providers but note that if you had a bad experience with AT&T years ago, they have spent billions in upgrades: it's a different service now. Good to very good. Was this review helpful to you?
