I only have reliable reception in my bedroom. I don't have a landline, so this is a major pain. I used to have T-Mobile and the reception was even worse, so I don't want to change again.

I get no reception in my building at all. I have to go at least ten feet beyond my front door before regaining it.

four bars don't mean a thing - frequent dropouts - plus about every fourth syllable lost - typically get a plea from the other party to please switch to land line - used to have ATT TDMA which was far better - also bookkeeping is not good - signed up for online billing and rarely get notification of bill due until message comes that payment is OVERdue - looking forward to contract end.

Had Sprint years ago - no reception - switched to Verizon 5 years ago - very few reception problems since. The LG 8000, while large, gives good reception (also has a faily low SAR of 85) - Main negative no Bluetooth.

I used to get ok service in my office on Broad St. Now I have 5 bars on the 40th floor of my building. Everyone that has Verizon or T-Mobile are sucking wind while I am getting email and making calls. My boss is convinced to swap everyone over to Cingular. Hated them before love them now.

Only by an occasional miracle can I complete a call from here to midtown. Abysmal service, they keep sending mailers telling me how they're improving service in NYC - wish they'd spend the marketing money on towers. Also - north of Bank St.along the riverwalk service is pathetic to non-existant to the midtown area.
