RIM BlackBerry 7100t

I am having the strangest problem. I intermittently get no signal at all on my 7100 in my office, while users of Blackberry 7230s get 3 or 4 bars. When I do occasionally have signal on the 7100 in this location, I get 3 or 4 bars! T-mobile has sent a replacement phone, which seemed to more consistently get signal for a while, but now repleats the same behavior. Popping my SIM in an n-gage QD yields full strength.

I never have had a problem - great reception and dependability. The LG VX6000 has been my best phone. Solid all around!

Excellent coverage throughout Manhattan on W and E sides (except for the 100s on the west side, where reception is not great).

In my apartment it works fine. My girlfriend also had T-Mobile, but hers dropped calls all the time until she got a new phone. Her old one that didn't work well was the Sony Ericsson brick model.

I used to think T-mobile sucked, but now that I got the K700i, I realized it was my old phone. I get full reception indoors and outdoors. When I used to go into the subway and come out, my phone read "no network" until I turned the phone on and off. Now it catches the signal as I walk up the steps! My husband has a Nokia 7260 and his reception is great too. For T-Mobile, I can say the phone's reception makes a big difference.

I have to go right to the Corner of St. Nickolas and 190th St. If I even step 3 steps away I get no service. It's ridiculous.

Service is okay in the streets but weird thing is that service is never steady. It changes rapidly when i get into buildings. There is no service in buildings while my boyfriend with an AT&T phone has excellent service.

The reception is good throughout however once you get into buildings reception is weak or none. If you want a service which is good throughout AT&T would be the one.

I've had a Sprint phone and lived in the area for almost a year, had pretty decent reception with my older phone and even better with my newer phone. It's not perfect, but calls come in and I have steady reception. Sprint PCS is ok in this area. As is Virgin Mobile, which was my phone before that, and which I believe also shares Sprint's network.
