Best Verizon phone so far. It is a Tri-mode phone. Older techknology. Much better than the digital (newer) phones. At least it worked most of the time.

The Palm is an improvement on prior Motorola phone, but still poor and inconsistent. Any company that can provide adequate service in this area will take 90% of the market.

i had Verizon for a fews years complained to them about no reception in or around my neighorhood northport village ny, 25a west to huntington ny, I need reception from my home iam now going to find a carrier who provides it

Poor reception is better than what I usually get. My phone is basically useless. Verizon reps blame it on proximity to the water. We also have an old Virgin Atlantic phone which gets almost perfect reception! A friends Cingular phone works most of the time. There are 4 cell towers on Keyspan property, approximately one mile away!

Calls can be made sometimes and sometimes not. When a call is made, signal may drop and hangup. Signal is so poor, I try to go outside to make call and sometimes walk over to the athletic field. When I am on call at work, this is a problem as my company may not be able to reach me. I have 2 phones through Verizon and both work the same way. My other phone an LG. I used to have a Samsung and that was poor, too. This is my parent's house. If I lived at this address I would never buy a Verizon phone.

to get 1 or two bars I have have the phone on a certain ear while standing in a certain spot. Cell service is not good at all. I tried calling Cingular and they supposedly sent something to my phone that was supposed make my service better but it did nothing.

Reception quality varies dramatically in a short distance. Better at the top of hills than down in the valleys, like downtown Northport.

This area needs help, has At&T and service was a little better, at least the phone rang and not just went to phonemail.

No reception at all. If I drive within a 10 block radius, bars com and go. I am often cut off during a call within that radius. I used to have T-Mobile, which worked great in this area.

the problem is the north shore of long island needs cell towers but people say not in my backyard then complain about the servce
