Reception never holds when dialing a phone number in this area. Households must find a "sweet spot" in order to send / receive a txt. Absolutley no picture or video txt's. I had to drive down my road just to find reception in order to activate my new phone. I know that at least a 2 mile radius of customers are recieving less than satisfactory service and want a change. Some are planning on leaving their current service providers due to this problem. Verizon please fix this.

We're at northern fringe of the transmission area on the Lake Ontario shore. We frequently get the "Verizon loss of service " message and the "Roaming " signal and message. Have just added the 4G Hotspot and when it is connected it is blazing fast; when not connected it is a major mystery as to why and when it will be reestablished--disconnects have been from 10 seconds to 34 minutes (twice) so far, during the past week. In sum, unreliable, annoying as heck! Verizon simply needs to put up another tower between Williamson and Rochester (AT&T has four towers in the same area).

No service near the lake even though service maps and Verizon say there is.

I frequently get calls that just ring and never go to a person's voice mail. I have to turn the phone off and on to connect a call. The same thing happens with my wife's phone.

My wife and I each have the same model phones. In the house I get 2-3 bars and she gets 1-2 bars. My phone never drops call but her's does. We tried T-Mobile but could not get reception in the house at all. Fortunetly, they took them back and cancelled the contract charging us $15 per phone plus usage (5 minutes!). Worth not being able to use the phones at home at all, but unfortunate that you cannot find out ahead of time if they will work.

Verizon's signal will drop a call or the other party will complain of a poor connection from within the house. Sometimes get better signal outside - not good in winter! Verizon is the best of other carriers at our home but we would like to dump the land line.
