Sprint 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: Sprint PPC-6700	I have had Sprint in this area for a number of years, so far the problem areas seem to be the Taconic and Route 9G.

Nextel 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: 860	I have been with Nextel for 4 years. Started out with the I90 currently have 860. Particularly in the last year the service has gone to hell. I used to get great service in my house now it is sporadic. Not just in the valley.. in poughkeepsie as well and there are more and more dead areas cropping up. I heard that once Sprint merged with Nextel that they stopped renting as many towers. That would explain the decline in service. I luv my breakthrough 10000 plan but Im going to verizon. Im a paramedic and I have to rely on the cell at times to cal lthe dr for orders and Im tired of having 4 bars one sec and none the next without moving. Also keep getting booted off because the network is too busy. Texts and messages are often delayed hours. Im going to Verizon next week!
