Verizon wireless opened a tower in Richfield Springs in the spring of 2006. This gives good to perfect coverage for the village and the surrounding area. This is Verizon Wireless only. Disreguard comments about this are before 2006. It was a very poor area for all cell phones until this tower was activated.
