Great phone (Treo650) but the worst reception ever! I just switched to Cingular from T-Mobile and it is really bad. People on the other line always complain can't hear me and it breaks. I am switching back to T-Mobile as soons as I can

It goes in and out of signal several times a minute. This causes the battery to die very fast as the fone uses more power trying to pull the signal. I`m used to carrying two batteries. Sometimes it doesn`t even ring at all and I`ll get a voicemail after several minutes. It doesn`t work in this area.

Doesn't work (or I get 1 or 2 fluctuating bars) in my brick house; yet when I walk outside, the signal boosts to full bars. I have T-Mobile too (GSM) and I get FULL BARS in my house and even my basement. For some reason Verizon (and their great network) does not work well in a brick house. Works much better in NYC itself.

I've been a Verizon customer for around 4 years now. Lived all over the US, and never had a problem. Reception here is always very strong, and the call quality is excellent.

I only get one tick if I hang out my apartment window, even then quite often I loose the call once I connect to a number. Very poor service indeed.

Never had any problems yet and its going on a year and loving it, I don't care much for the other phones with cameras and nick nacks but Nextel is the best so far and I have tried them all.

Cuts out and drops calls; it's almost impossible to have a conversation, although it works better during the day than at night. No better outside than inside. A friend had no trouble using Verizon here.
