I've had Verizon for as long as I've had a phone, and I guess it's been OK. The thing about Verizon is that they are very, very expensive indeed. And sometimes, when I'd have 4 bars of service the text wouldn't go through and I'd have to send the text 2 / 3 times. The coverage is pretty good, and the only reason we want to leave is because of the high bill price. AT&T or Sprint though?

On North side of Beach Ave, signals are virtually lost in the house, between the houses, north of the houses, or out on the beach.

Perfect reception in Rochester and the surrounding towns. I haven't had a dropped call in years! 3g network is great, and the service is hassle free.

T-mobile was horrible constantly dropping calls id have to stand on my bed angle to a certain corner and if I moved a centimeter it would drop

Just switched to Verizon and love it! Service is great, great customer service, great call quality, etc. I love my phone! It is much better then my iPhone 3GS. I even get a discount on my bill. I have family who are now about to switch to Verizon from AT&T.

AT&T is HORRIBLE! I would NEVER tell anyone to look into them. Dropped calls, call failed, horrible call quality, horrible customer service, etc. I'm about to head over to the Verizon store and pick up the Incredible and bring my 4 other lines with me!

at&t step it up Verizon is killing you with reception. If it wasnt for the iphone you guys would have to really lower your prices. I hope Verizon gets the iphone that is a match made in heaven.

I've been with Verizon for quiet a few years now, wouldn't want to switch at all. Recently I was out in the country on a camping trip in New York State of course, trees, mountains, hills, valleys, etc., with friends who had different carriers, they couldn't get any reception in those woods... One of my friends had to make an important phone call and they were very upset that they couldn't get a signal... even when they had one of the hottest phones on the market... anyway, I offered them to use my blackberry storm, they couldn't believe that they could get through... so they left it as they were going to get their service through Verizon. Thanks Verizon... I know one day, you will be able to send signals through those long elevator rides, where nobody can get coverage. Oh Well..keep up the good work.

I've rarely had a problem with AT&T (or Cingular). The only time I've had poor reception is underground or inside thick buildings, thanks to AT&T's lack of lower frequency antennas. Usually, \ poor reception in this area is more a product of the phone than the carrier. My Razr had phenomenal service also. It wasn't until I move to DC that I realized what bad reception really felt like.

I get no bars in our office while other with AT&T get three or four bars. Even walking to the parking lot does not fix the problem. I need to walk to the street to get any signal.

Verizon has been outstanding. I've had sprint, Nextel, and AT&T... they all pale in comparison. I've also been through a number of phones through the years and the model definitely makes a difference, when I upgraded to this phone I saw a noticeable improvement. My wife has one of those Razr V3 things and it sucks. Battery life is ridiculously short... . but we always have great connections and full bars throughout most of the area. We're sticking with verizon... and thinking about a pair of Blackberries next.

struggling bars and no reception in basement when AT&T has bars??? sprint has always been known for not that great of reception and Verizon is second..seriously AT&t no joke is the way to go

i always loose reception on East Ave between Culver and Alexander. only with my Sprint phone. my AT&T client phone works fine there! i have never been able to use my Sprint on east ave for years.

never have a problem love the service, no dropped calls, bars may go up and down due to area and networks in the area, but over all service and calls great..

I never have service on any of our 4 Nextel phones, is it model of phone or do others have problems with Nextel in the North Greece area?

Calls are dropped incessantly, battery life is about 5 minutes with a full charge thanks to the extra work required to maintain calls. Though, I think this LG phone also has something to do with it. I'm counting down the days until 6 / 13, when my Verizon plan is up. by the way, Verizon worked great in my last apartment! Though that was in Boston...

Here on the RIT campus T-Mobile works alrite. In most buildings ill get between 2-3 bars and I am able to make calls. In the basements of buildings forget it, which is acceptable. Verizon has a site on top of Building 1 which allows them to reach every corner of the campus with excellent service. Every other cell phone company gets decent service otherwise.
