i always loose reception on East Ave between Culver and Alexander. only with my Sprint phone. my AT&T client phone works fine there! i have never been able to use my Sprint on east ave for years.

never have a problem love the service, no dropped calls, bars may go up and down due to area and networks in the area, but over all service and calls great..

I never have service on any of our 4 Nextel phones, is it model of phone or do others have problems with Nextel in the North Greece area?

Calls are dropped incessantly, battery life is about 5 minutes with a full charge thanks to the extra work required to maintain calls. Though, I think this LG phone also has something to do with it. I'm counting down the days until 6 / 13, when my Verizon plan is up. by the way, Verizon worked great in my last apartment! Though that was in Boston...

Here on the RIT campus T-Mobile works alrite. In most buildings ill get between 2-3 bars and I am able to make calls. In the basements of buildings forget it, which is acceptable. Verizon has a site on top of Building 1 which allows them to reach every corner of the campus with excellent service. Every other cell phone company gets decent service otherwise.

Generally lousy coverage at our house, though it is a bit better on the second floor. Have not tried the roof. Coverage improves rapidly as we drive west toward town on Penfield Rd. We drop calls sometimes and more often we cannot be understood. I think we need a REAL telecomm revolution!

Have had service with Cingular for almost 2 yrs. Can't wait till the contract is up! Dropped calls are an every day occurrance and reception is poor at best.Cingulars' customers service is horrible. Have owned a treo 650 which has numerous "known issues" and have had it replaced twice. It drops calls and it scratchy most all of the time. Sat in front of a cell tower several nights ago talking to a customer service rep who told me I was in a great coverage area as the call was dropped. No coverage on parts of Chili Ave, King Rd, Buffalo Rd, near the High School, or in the village of Churchville. Phone won't get service in Wegmans, Rochester Sports and Fitness and in many areas of Downtown near Frontier Field or the Blue Cross Arena! Try another carrier !

I can't use it in my home! Very poor reception anywhere I go. Can't use in stores at all! Hate Sprint, poor service, poor reception and they screw up the bill all the time. Don't sign up with them! $200 to get out of the contract! Can't even call my husband when we are in the same store! Don't go there!

I have to sit in my apartment window to get consistent signal. I have frequent dropped calls. I even get dropped calls when standing outside with 5 bars! Sometimes it works, most of the time, I get cut off. I hope Verizon is better. I think I'll try them when my contract is up next month.

Never had any reception problems, but I'm switching to T-Mobile because they are ridiculous in pricing for similar services. And I hate that they are combined with Sprint. Hopefully T-Mobile will treat me better !
