Horrible Service... I am a Volunteer Fireman and I can't even make a call to my dispatch to let them know I am on my way to respond. AT&T is absolutely horrible around here. Called AT&T to let them know and they have done very little to improve on the sistuation. Phone is always trying to switch between 3G and Edge. Come on AT&T get some service here! Spend some money in Ronkonkoma

Full 5 bars reception at all times everywhere inside and outside. Have used them for many years and reception is great. Monthly rates are way cheaper than most other carriers too.

Never get good coverage... .. Really sucks, but when I am out of my home area AT&T seems to work great!

Reception is poor to none. The phones battery is drained trying to receive a signal.

Absolutely poor reception for Cingular at my place and surrounding areas. They need to put a new antenna closeby. Was wondering if there is some 3 to dial to refresh the signal codes? I know that Verizon has such a capability and I get an awesome reception on their line anywhere in my house even in the basement.

No reception for me-- had the old AT&T service and changed to the "new and improved"? service provided by Cingular (which sucks by the way!) no recption here..have to go by the expresssway to get any at all...

I switched from Nextel to Cingular two months ago. For the entire two months I have had good reception for outgoing calls, and almost no reception for incoming calls. Go figure. Cingular customer service reps are friendly but inept and solving my problem - the tell me I have no problem. Hm... wonder why I can't hear people when they call me? Cingular has basically told me I'm on my own and will not let me out of my contract, even though they can't even provide service in my home. Would not recommend Cingular.

I have been with VZW for almost 2 years and for the first year my reception was very good. For the past 6-8 months I have been experiencing significant issues with my reception, i.e. dropped calls, echoes during conversations, calls fading ina dn out. Sometimes it take up to 6 hours for me to receive a voicemail. Spots where I use to have reception I now cannot place calls or get frequent drops. I have called VZW several times and they blame it on my equipment. I asked them why then did it work for the first year? They had no answer. My reception has gotten so erratic that I have tried to cancel but of course they will not let me without charging $175 per line (I have 2 line family plan). There arrogance and unwillingness to address my issues has lost them a customer when my contract expires. I believeVZW is currently at or near capacity for its system. Before you sign a long term contract with VZW take advantage of any trial period and use the phone as much as you can during peak calling hours.

All services are garbage in my neighborhood. Nextel was between 0-2 bars at all times. My AT&T usually has between 2 and 4, so an improvement.

Cingular seems to get great reception in both areas. Probably would have gave it a 5 out of 5 but I sometimes lose reception in confined areas such as basements and whatnot.

very poor. never service unless it's raining
