Driving through Monsey and Spring Valley I almost always have reception. The corner of Viola and 306 never has. Forshay and Wesley Hills get tricky.

I don't know if it's because the phone sucks or what, but I can't ever get service when I really need it. In my house esp, serive comes and goes when it wants to--1 minute I have 4 / 5 bars, the next minute I have 1 or my call gets lost. Totally infuriating at times. Wouldn't recommend at all to anyone.

Cingular IS the ONLY service to get around here. No cheap deal is worth the frustration of not reaching someone because they are in a grocery. Spend less on a phone - more on service.

Sprint service in Chestnut Ridge, Monsey, and Pearl River is spotty. It works outside, but once you step into a building or someone's house it will usually drop to 1 or no bars. From talking to friends, it seems that Verizon has this problem too. I've heard that AT&T / Cingular is one of the better ones for this area.

After trying all the services (Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile) I find that Cingular / AT&T together give you the best range and clarity in Monsey, New Hempstead, Wesley Hills, Nanuet, New City, Bardonia, Chestnut Ridge, Airmont, suffern areas. I could never get rexeption in my home with any other carrier. Cingular "All Bars"!

I get no reception in my house
