I just bought an iPhone 4s and switched to Sprint instead of AT&T. I get one bar or two maximum in my apartment. AT&T was just as bad.

I get extremely frustrated because I cannot receive or make calls half the time. Also, majority of the days, my reception varies from no bars to actually "SOS" in the top corner. People will call me and my phone will not ring and go to voicemail. This is ridiculous that I cannot use my own cell phone to make calls in my own house.

I have no idea why there is no reception in this area. The Verizon fios guys came to install service, but they cannot active the service by their equipment due to no service for his cell phone and laptop. Super Sucks

I had decent reception (3 / 4 bars) since Jan 2010. Suddenly, I have 0-1 bars. All calls goes to voicemail. Occasionally I will receive a text. Call Tmobile, they said they're not sure what I am talking about and will send an engineer. I am sure that is BS. They told me to call from a landline. TOO BAD I DO NOT HAVE ONE.

Occasionally a left message will come through but can't be accessed anyhow because dialing inevitably leads to a dropped call.

the phone bounces between 0-1 bars... Phone calls are almost impossible to make, on the odd occasion they work the other person can't hear you and you can't hear them. Its shown as "Best" on Sprint's coverage map... Yeah right. Even freakin MetroPCS has full bars here.

I have Verizon Wireless as my only phone... I am constantly dropping calls and suffer with spotty service in my house. I have called Verizon to complain and the last time I called, the rep was a little upset with me because I didn't have an alternate phone that I could call him on so that I could hear him! Verizon says they can't guarantee service in the home! But I can purchase a signal booster for $99 / ea phone (my kids each have their own) when I argued that I already pay nearly $200 a month - there was no consolation - I can't wait for my contract to be over!

Barely acceptable coverage outside, so many drops inside its not even funny... yet the recently updated coverage map from Sprint shows this is a "Best" coverage area (upgraded one level from "Good", the previous rank)

Outside the house service is only passable. Inside the house service is static and drops out frequently. Unusable as a landline replacement.

Reception is good and I very rarely have problems finding service or with dropped calls. The only place I routinely experience dropped calls is in the middle of the Hudson River while on the Staten Island ferry, but I imagine that's probably how it is with all of the other cell phone carriers as well.
