bloomingdale road from the korean war parkway up correll ave, no service

I do not get reception while driving along Arden Avenue, Huguenot Ave. or Bloomingdale Road. Also, coming down Grymes Hill I completely lose reception. Near / In Woodrow Plaza there is zero service. There is probably a bunch more I can think of. Nextel / Sprint is TERRIBLE.

We're in a hole over here and need a repeater high up.

Older devices work fine, 3G devices do not.

i live at 34 luke ct and never get cell phone service since I got this phone they need to put a tower in the woods

From Rockland Ave all the way down to the end of Hylan Blvd.there is no cell reception and I have had various cell phones T-Mobile, Cingular just to name a few. Someone else mentioned Richmond Terrace I live near there on Heberton ave and never had a problem with reception the only time I do is when the weather is extremely bad

No one on my block can get a decent cell signal at all. We live right by the SI Railroad and it gets better when I go out infront of my house away from the rails but otherwise I can't get anything. Even wireless networks I try to hop on are skiddish. Will it ever change?

If your driving on Victory Blvd.from Bay St. till about Jewett the reception is pretty bad you can probably go the whole ride and pick up and drop signals about 5 times before you get a real steady signal for a 1 minute conversation.

Cingular and AT&T, they share networks; you just need a 2 mode cellular (using 850 MHz and 1,900 MHz bands).

Nextel is horrendous for this location, zero reception. Their answer is that we are on a bubble i.e. convergence of three towers and there is nothing that they can do.

Using the e815, I get EVDO only in the second floor but get 1xRTT on the ground floor. Outside, I get EVDO full bars.

Can make and receive calls with no issues

Cingular does not have any reception at wellbrook ave. Once I move towards bradley ave, it starts getting 1-2 bars. There is a problem in this block with all carriers, but others atleast work to some extent.

Frequently no reception. Ironically I often visit SW Virginia and West Virginia where the recpetion is perfect ( far away in the Appalachian Mountains) yet in the world's hub one cannot carry on a cellphone conversation. In addition I have filed with Verizon who has never provided any insight.

Intermittent, lots of dropped calls and difficulty dialing out and receiveing at times. Lots of calls go straigh to voicemail.

i have the lg6100 and my service is poor on the intire richmond terrice from zip 10303 to 10301.for the price that they charge they can do better. (CAN YOU HERE ME NOW)?.

Nextel, terrible service if any in Staten Island, NY around the college. Nextel really doesn't care for individual customers, there concerns are for business. Also many dead spots in NJ along the Garden State Parkway. You can drive from NY down to AC and listen to your Nextell drop in and out of service. Or make a call and have the person on the other end tell you to use a pay phone instead because they are tired of trying to understand you because you drop in and out... ..

This seems to be the worst area on the island. I drive 45 minutes each way to and from work and a majority of my journey is made with no service.

It's a shame that in this day and age, I can't use my cell phone. Nextel has been absolutely the worst cell carrier I have ever used! And what makes matters worst is that Nextel CS could care less about me not being able to make and receive calls. If your looking for a new Cell provider, I suggest you ask as many people as possible in and around your area for ther opinions.
