I have AT&T because of the iphone and this purchase was the worst purchase I have ever made. I used to work for AT&T and the number one complaint that I heard all day every day is that people were having multiple dropped calls. I have been all over and I cannot remember the last time I completed a full conversation without having the call dropped. And then on top of that, everytime a call drops, even is I have full bars, it will not allow me to call out. AT&T is absolutely ridiculous and they should not be able to get away with making people sign contracts until they improve their network completely.
I have had Verizon for years. Rarely dropped a call, always good reception. My friends on other networks will drop calls constantly. My phone works where most of my friend's do not. Love it.
usually no reception - sometimes a weak call that will be dropped - switch to Nextel made no difference. But, Verizon does work properly here. Neighborhoods at top of Maple Dr.are especially problematic if you don't have Verizon.
I get maybe one bar if I face it at a certain angle. Otherwise, I have to get 50 feet from the porch. My roommates have Verizon and they haven't had a problem
LG phones totally suck! Verizon can't give them away free. The next time they try, run in the other direction as fast as you can. They must have some kind of cheap deal with LG. The phones are horrendous.
Two bars at best. I have had the service for about 3 years. I am starting to get more dropped calls starting around July of 2006. While traveling, I get good service in major metro areas.
I've had Verizon 5 years, and live on top of Onondaga Hill, and have terrific reception no matter where I go... The phone never drops a call and will ring and give me my calls no matter where I am... all over the country.
Very poor coverage on top of Onondaga Hill. Verizon states it is "tough" to have good coverage on top of a hill. Frequent dropped calls while in my home and outside is not much better. Disappointed with the “network” on the Hill. I literally need to be half way down the hill towards the City or Geddes to get good reception. Oh, and never mind what the signal strength display shows, it lies.
