This phone service is horrible. I have problems EVERYWHERE. On the PIP at exit 12 always drops calls. Stony Point virtually no signal, Hammond R.d no signal, Rosman Rd. no signal... PIP past exit 13 all the way to Monroe no signal, then in Monroe only 2 bars if that. Route 9w north... .no bars. All over Westchester TONS of problems... Nextel and Sprint merged and cannot use each other towers because they are different technology. I was going to change to Verizon until I came here and read this!

Forget Sprint in Northern Rockland. Palisades Pkwy. reception from Exit 16 to exit 10 much better than Cingular however.

Spotty reception if you are not moving. Cingular rep was suprised that I would get any - nearest tower is 9 miles away in Westchester. 0-1 bar on most of Palisades Pkwy. from Exit 16 to exit 10.
