No good signal. Have to be physically plastered up against my window to have any chance of placing or holding a call. Move a foot away and it'll drop. Will enter and leave service area multiple times while I'm trying to type out a text message. Talk about frustrating!

Even with the signal booster that I purchased from Verizon, the quality of calls is poor at my house. Without the booster, calls are next to impossible.

Always have great signal. The occassional dropped call, but it usually coincides with someone in the middle of nowhere. Wish I had the 4G LTE I did back home, but the 4G quality is nothing to turn your nose up at.

Very poor service starting a few months ago... They told me the decomissioned some of their old Alltel towers which dropped the service level even further. They told me that they were installing new towers that would be up and running that friday... Its been a month and Id be lucky if I ever saw 2 bars, and forget about 3G. I both live and work in springfield, making Verizon a poor choice for the area. Every time I complain they assure me it will be fixed in a month, next week, 2 weeks, etc etc. Very shady. Instead of admitting the problem and fixing they are making excuses. I switched to AT&T and I have great service now. Beware!

I used to have average reception in my home, but now it is horrible for the last 4 months or so. I don't have a landline, and I use my phone for work, as well as personal use. My calls get dropped, people say they can't hear me, and to take them off speaker, and I'm not on speaker. I can't even order a pizza anymore, and going outside does not help. 3g goes to 1x to nothing, like the wind blows, making it irritating to try to use any apps on the phone at home, they'll start to work then stop, then start up again 15 min. later. I've went to Verizon several times, and they have done things to help, but nothing has worked. I have been with Verizon for 14 years, but this is getting ridiculous. If you live in this area I would not reccomend Verizon.

I always have a signal... 3G at that. I have friends with the new Motorola Droid and the iPhone and they always complain about not having a good 3G connection if ne connection at all. Plus its cheap for unlimited everything.

I get no reception at home at all, in the Valley by the Towpath. It's so frustrating. Verizon said that after completing the Alltel absorption, the signal would be better. It hasn't been. Help!

Verizon used to be a good carrier, now since the AllTel merger and rollout my signal is in and out all of the time. This makes the phones useless with dropped calls and no solid EVDO signal. Verizon used to be good here. The techs keep closing my calls saying we have good coverage, I have tested and at best get a -120DB signal which is still very noisy and poor. I wish they would admit the problem and fix the bad or misaimed panel. I am supposed to have 3 towers close by and should be getting a strong signal. Only one tower is close enough to cause the umbrella effect. The other two should be hitting us directly (from level 4) Everytime I see the commercials that show the competitions Blackberry in paperweight mode, I can't help but think they have the commercial backwards they meant to say the Verizon phone is in paperweight mode. I did receive a call from Gregory Biel or Deil in the presidents office of verison but after 10 attempts to return his call, he is yet to respond.
