Near the intersection of Lake Rd.and Jaycox Road, Verizon reception is poor but better during off hours. Why? $87 a month and poor cell service! Come on you guys. Where is our government when we need it?

AT&T cell coverage is AWFUL in Avon Lake. Both my wife and I have AT&T service and like another poster said you have to be in a certain portion of the house to get a signal. Lot's of dropped calls, echo, and noise. Sure glad I never dumped my land line. Cell service in Avon Lake can improve if the local (Avon Lake) goverment would get off their duffs and approve more cell towers in the city and tell the nimrod NIMBY's to pipe down.

This is the WORST phone service I have ever had. Constant dropped calls in my home, no service along Lake RD. I am constantly updating my ''roaming capability" according to Verizon's instructions, only to have no noteable improvement.

I've had nothing but problems with Verizon reception and it's now worse than ever! In order to try and achieve or maintain connection I have to sit / stand in one area of the house while trying to aim at some invisible connection point which usually means keeping my arm in very uncomfortable positions usually with elbow pointed up... .and oh yeah, and that "invisible connection point" changes with each and every call! Almost every single call made in this house is dropped! Sometimes my phone starts searching for a signal when I'm not even using it! Also, sometimes I don't even receive my messages until the next day which I think may be due to the bad reception!

T-Mobile has exceptional reception in the areas to the west of Cleveland. I get 3G data connection pretty much everywhere I go and I almost never have a dropped call. I even get 3-4 bars of 3G signal in my basement! I have never worried about my phone's voice or data connections being unreliable, I highly recommend a T-Mobile Android phone to anyone in the area (unless you're a heavy traveler, because T-Mobile has proven to be somewhat sketchy in small towns far away from urban areas or major highways).

Broken reception. A block away, usually no service, especially in the houses. Not uncommon to see people pacing in the streets talking on cell phones.

No reception at all on Lake Rd. several miles east and west of Route 83.

No reception. Can't make calls. Dropped calls.
