I have a Verizon Droid and I barely get any reception in the house. Outside I get 1-2 bars. Calls are frequently dropped, phone battery dies quickly. I called Verizon to inform them of this and they said there were no issues with cell phone coverage in the Bay Village area, and while I was on the phone with them the call dropped. Absolutely terrible service. I hope Verizon builds some new towers in the area soon or I will be switching to another carrier.

Must be half way up driveway for consistent service north of Lake Road. Verizon is the carrier. I'm afraid to get a smart phone for this reason.

Too many dropped calls since July... situation getting worse. Told by Verizon Westlake branch that there were new towers being raised in Elyria and it should only be 1 month more before situation improves. I was also told that there were many in BV who had continuous dropped calls. Not able to get good reception unless in my backyard... hope everything improves before winter!

My phone goes into roaming around 9am and stays in till after midnight.I have called,gotten a new phone and still no service,they say it is because I live on the Lake,but I have lived here 10 years.,also 2 Blackberry phones have the same problem

Verizon Wireless calls frequently drop in Bay Village. Right now I have 1 bar, and the other line usually sounds choppy. Avoid Verizon in Bay Village.

very poor signal at this location. many times I would stand in my driveway to place an outgoing call. Incoming signal non-existant. Changed cell phone company from AT&T to Alltel. Much better reception with Alltel.

Unbelievably poor service - if a call does come to my phone (most don't), I can't answer it. We thought that giving up a land line made financial sense since we pay so much for cell service, but now we couldn't even call 911 if we needed to.

Verizon is horrible - I am "Out of Network" about 70% of the day at home. Calls drop constantly. Occasionally even get 'roaming' that bounces back from Canada 60 miles away, but can't get the towers 1 mile south. Big Zero

I need to walk outside to make a call and even then I probably won't recieve one.
