Can't believe that we are just a few miles west of the city of Chillicothe and don't have reliable service, might as well live in the boondocks... would probably have better service! Talked to Sprint about this issue and was offered an Airave. Went through 2 of them, they would not hold GPS signal, so I ultimately ended up sending it back... just suffering. Nothing like paying full price for crap! And boy have I wasted a lot of my prescious time... not that Sprint cares. After going through so many issues in early 2011 (calls taking several seconds to a minute to go through if they even did, text messages not going through, calls not coming in) and being told it was for an upgrade to this area... .LIES, I'm sure it was upgrades for the new Iphone users of Sprint, NOT existing users... I will be switching all 5 phones to another service when contracts are up. Oh, and of course, Chillicothe doesn't have 4G service but pay the same amount as those who do... cell companies should offer credits when full service is not available! It's like me paying for premium cable channels but not getting them!

I get normal service within the city but do loose service in Scioto trails state park or Tar hollow state park, great service in great seal state park... I do pick up AT&T outside of town often.

Good overall coverage in and around town. No dropped calls or complete loss of signal.

I generally have great reception from Richmond Dale and gets worse towards Vigo.

I was using my Verizon V620 aircard in Nov 2005, and was pleased I got 140KB bandwidth typically, even though Verizon's service coverage map says no service in Chillicothe

Cingular service anywhere in or around Chillicothe is perfect. I hardly ever have a lost call or lose signal. Cingular is way better than Sprint.

I have been a Sprint customer for aprox. 4 years. Have had no major problems. Most areas in Ohio are excellent reception. I do notice signal loss in large buildings such as Kroger and Walmart. Also, we live on the side of a hill and reception here at home is nominal. Plan to upgrade to new phone and family plan soon. Hope new phone will be as reliable as previous one I have had all along.

Solid reception in Chillicothe. Text, wireless web, voice -- everything solid in town. Minor problems on minor highways out of town, notably Ohio 104 through Kellenberger Rd.to 23 and U.S. 50 East toward Athens. Both dead areas, both opportunities to put your phone away for a while. Otherwise, Sprint better than average in major towns aroudn here, better than some other companies at providing service.
