Inside phone reception is dicey and phone frequently searches for local signal (roaming turned off so phone is only looking for Cricket). Outside service is better. No major physical obstructions here, ground relatively flat. Not below grade.

The intersection of Eight Mile Rd. and Hopper Rd. in Cincinnati, Ohio (Anderson Township) is a Verizon dead zone. I travel this area quite frequently on my way to work and have called Verizon about this problem multiple times, but nothing is ever done. They won't put a repeater in or strengthen the nearest tower. No plans for a new tower either. I have heard from other people about reception problems in this area. Does anyone else have any problems with Verizon in this area or have suggestions of what I should do? I'm sick of Verizon's lack of service or concern.

AT&T has very bad reception in this area of Anderson Township. One bar if you are lucky. There should be good reception here because it's near the Interstate 275 bridge. I always experience dropped calls and very poor voice quality-voice sounds like a computer voice or monster! Tower handoffs are rough as well. If you live in this area, avoid AT&T unless they decide to put a tower here!

Use T-Mobile as my personal phone and Verizon as a work phone. Verizon has frequent dropped calls, while T-Mobile has no dropped calls *knock on wood*.

I get dropped calls on Verizon almost every day. I'm trying to figure out if it's my phone or the network.

I-74 between Montana and North Bend is so bad I don't even try. West Fork runs parallel. I tried to make a 911 call at West Fork and Montana, didn't get the police call back message until I reached the top of Montana Ave. hill about ten minutes later. Good thing the kids weren't really dead, just passed out.

I use Cingular / AT&T and the phone doesn't work at all in my Apt., and barely works anywhere else in the city, Cingular claims that the cell reception in all of the areas I get no reception in is excellent, must be a bad phone
