Alltel is the best service I've ever had (I've also been on Sprint and AT&T). I've dropped MAYBE five calls in the two years that I've had them. Too bad they're being sold to Verizon...

No problems -- in the basement, in an elevator, 5 bars everywhere, no dropped calls or dead spots anywhere in the city.

I've been with Alltel for several months and I have been really happy with the coverage here. My wife and I initially switched from Verizon to save a few bucks on our family plan with but was happy to discover that the signal was just as good if not better all over the area here. My phone is always on full signal and we're getting a lot more minutes and paying less with that circle deal which is unlimited to 10 numbers and on all family plans. Even in brick apartment building or back of Wal-Mart, my phone can always make or receive a call and is usually on full signal. Calls sound great and I've had no problems. Alltel really is a provider that I'm happy I switched to.

I've had Sprint, Cingular, Nextel, Verizon and now Alltel for the last 2 years.. this is the best overall service i've had... the others would either have excellent reception sometimes but drop calls often, or poor reception regularly and drop calls not too often, the only company that came close to Alltel's was Verizon, but Alltel's customer service has been he best... I haven't had a single dropped called in the nearly two years of service and that being with using sometimes upwards of 9,000 minutes (including night and weekends) per month... definitely sticking with Alltel all the way!

I could write forever about how great of an improvement it has been to switch to Alltel from Sprint and all the places signal is stronger. Perfect coverage all over area here and all over city. No dropped calls or areas of bad signal. Can always make a call. Very happy with coverage.

I have been with Alltel for 9 years, I love it. When I do get a dropped call, I get credit for it. But, that seems to be something that rarely ever happens. I will continue to stay with Alltel as long as the service is great.

Nothing else comes close in signal strength. Have asked everyone with a cell.

While sitting in my office, near a window I will go from 4-5 bars to 1 or none, without moving! Often I will get a voicemail but not have a missed call due to the reception. Very frustrating! Also while in the Philadelphia airport, I continually experienced dropped calls even when by a window when trying to contact my travel agent to rebook a cancelled flight. That was the last straw and I am changing providers.

Reception around campus is awesome! I have excellent 3G coverage everywhere. I get a perfect signal in almost all of my classrooms and a perfect signal in my res hall (top of the hill). Also had perfect signal in both res hall's I've stayed in on North side.

Excellent reception, almost always full bars of 3G outside and in most of my house. I even pick up around 3 bars in my basement.

my Motorola flip phone worked in our home with two bars. The new iphone is unusable. It constantly drops out and "searches" It will be returned tomorrow.

The reception inside my house is very spotty. There's one or two good spots. The second floor is better. Around the neighborhood is good.

Cant make calls. When I can, cant keep them. Cant send text messages. AT&T sucks!

I had every carrier out there and AT&T is by far the best out there,no carrier works in my apt except Verizon and at&t.Verizon charges more and gives you less,so I went with at&t.

Horrible reception in my home. Many dropped calls. Once outside reception is better but can be spotty.

At the intersection listed the service works well, but a measly two blocks away the service does not work. Reception was so poor that AT&T canceled my contract without an ETF.

Work at University Hospitals, good reception to my home in Parma. Even good reception in the hospital (other than elevator). Quite happy with reception

2 bars most of the time in my house. Occasionally only 1. I don't lose many calls, though. Only happened a handful of times in 2 years with Cingular. Sound quality is OK. Pretty good reception out and about.
