I live in Michigan, but I was in Ohio for a wedding. At Sacred Heart Church, my phone is on Verizon and I get LTE in West Lafayette, Newcomerstown, and Coshocton. The LTE on Verizon in Newcomerstown, West Lafayette, Coshocton is a bit slow (like 9MBPS-Download; 7MBPS-Upload), but call quality on Verizon is 100% super-clear crystal, No dropped calls. Verizon said that they are going to look into the area (my friend works for Verizon as well as my Mom's friend) they are planning to add more towers also. Verizon has a tower in West Lafayette, Newcomerstown, but too many trees in the way. The Bride is on Verizon and she has Galaxy S6 (I think) and she gets a bit better reception on her phone than me (I have the Droid Turbo). My Dad has Sprint (Workphone), but NO Service (LTE and NO BARS) there. My Dad's cousin is T-Mobile, and she gets NO SERVICE (LTE, and NO BARS), Edge is crappy also. AT&T is definitely bad, like T-Mobile. If you are in the Ohio (Newcomerstown, West Lafayette, and / or Coshocton) area, I strongly suggest switching to Verizon, as they (Verizon) are the only carrier that works properly. Stay away from T-Mobile or Sprint. If you do plan to visit Michigan or Ohio State, Verizon is better also. Go Bucks! Was this review helpful to you?
We come to visit family often but get no receptionWas this review helpful to you?
A month ago (May 2013), there was a low signal (1 bar on my iPhone) detected at Bedford Dr, Coshocton. Is AT&T wireless signal now started to become available in Coshocton? If so, kudos! Was this review helpful to you?
Alltel has great reception in all of Coshocton. There is also great reception going up into Holmes county from here, better than any other carrier. Was this review helpful to you?
T-mobile and AT&T are not in Coshocton yet because of a City Ordinance that was for a 10year period that no more towers will be built (probably someone on the board / committee received a nice payment from Verizon to give them exclusive rights), but that just expired last year (late 2010). I don't live in Coshocton anymore, but I still visit there frequently due to family. My phone the T-Mobile G2 has a great app called "Wifi Calling". It uses any Wifi signal I'm logged onto as it's own personal cell tower. As stated earlier T-Mobile is not even in Coshocton, but when I travel there and visit family, I have better reception in their house (when they usually have none) than Verizon and Sprint. Granted, I have no cell coverage when driving or traveling between Wifi sites, but my phone still works 90% of the time I visit. Also, a little tip... the Wifi Calling app also works internationally so you can make calls back and forth to US numbers and only use your wireless minutes instead of being charged for international minutes. Was this review helpful to you?
Did business with the store in downtowner plaza, assit. manager told me Verizon did not ask us to live where there was lousy reception and that was not verizons fault so therefore when I returned new smart phone because of lousy data service, I was still charged restocking. Reported this rudeness to customer service. I have to have antennas and repeaters to get decent signal but even with that the data kept disconnecting on newer phone Oh please one of these carriers give us cell signal in this NOT remote area of between coshocton, warsaw and west. Nothing will give us decent internet. Was this review helpful to you?
Will there be any plan to extend T-Mobile signal to Coshocton town? Was this review helpful to you?
I live on a high hill back of Roscoe Village, even put up a rooftop antenna that has stopped working recently. Have moved it several times and even got a new cord, barely useable. Phone works in town. Oh please, give us reception for money spent. Was this review helpful to you?
