Coverage here is terrible with 0 bars as the norm. Must twist head and / or go outside to even hear one word of conversation. From my other review, a tower here or even near Sliman Dodge on 58(Leavitt) could help solve this issue and the reception issue at Mullinax Ford area near new Turnpike interchange.

Generally good reception (3-4 bars) through out downtown area. Also have an Altell LG VX3200 that seems to get slightly better reception (4-5 bars) in the same area (personal vs. work phone).

signal strength with Verizon has went down the toilet, phone is worthless inside the house or the work building. signal strength outside is 1 bar if you are lucky. have compared Alltel sided by side signal comparison at work near lake avenue and lowell street and Alltel will have 5 to 6 bars signal and Verizon will have between 0 and 1. do your self a favor and stay far away from Verizon !

Sanyo 8100 is considered a good phone with Sprint. But I do no have any reception here. I am considering to switch to Verizon but doubt if that is any good!

Zero to one bar at the house, and most times doesn't even ring on incoming calls. I put it on the kitchen table and called it from the land line and listened to it ring but the cell phone never made a peep, and it kicked to vmail. I've had vmail's show up days late. According to sprint I'm in the coverage area but I'm not... nearest tower is 5 miles away and pointed north, I'm on the 'backside' so I'll get dropped calls, roaming while at home, etc. and there's nothing they can do about it. C'mon, it's a heavily populated area, not a farm in the middle of nowhere. Don't even think about these clowns.

Near Route 57 / Chestnut Ridge (University Oaks) intersection, Elyria, OH 44035 Sun Jan 11, 2004

Reception changes a lot on the t610 because I am waiting for firmware updates that change this, but for now it works well, even with a poor signal quality on the phone it almost works 95% of the time at the lowest, and I have only dropped one call so far. Works more reliably then Sprint did by far. =D Nothing will ever work in my basement though, that's for sure.....I swear to God they put steel in our walls, my wireless router even gets a bad signal. :-\
