Our home is located at the outer-most reception edge of 3 Alltell towers. However, our home telephone reception is very good--even in my steel barn. My only problem is when I use the cell phone as a modem. That's really iffy. I travel quite a bit and have had only a few, brief dead spots. One at US 30 and Ohio 224 West of Van Wert (I understand other carriers have the same problem here); Ohio 23 just No. of Delaware for about 1 minute; I-75 North of Sidney Ohio (this is a larger dead spot); most of Defiance and Paulding Counties--but they are really short on ALL towers; on US 30 in Indiana about 2 miles West of Plymouth--again for about 2 minutes of driving time. Have used Alltell in other parts of Ind. with o much trouble and around most of Ohio. Reception in the Lexington, KY area's pretty good too. However, sometimes incoming calls don't ring in, but go directly to VM. Typically those are calls from other carriers.

Forest is terrible for cell phone reception. We pay money every month for cell phones and half the time they are worthless. I do not know what percentage but a lot of the time my phone just goes to voicemail because of poor reception.

I get great reception in the country and great reception in town, even better than when I had Alltel which I was told worked better than Verizon in the Forest area. I've never once lost reception with my cell phone except for briefly when I enter Arlington from St. Rt. 68.

I get one bar at most. Calls are dropped when inside my house. I have to be on my front porch to even complete a call.
