Having Nextel coverage is an exercise in frustration. I have either bad coverage or no coverage at home in Hinckley, and I have no coverage almost all the way to work near 82 and Broadview Road. There are multiple dead spots all over Hinckley where there is no coverage what so ever. When I contact Nextel I am told that I have very good coverage. Stupid me, I thought having good coverage meant that I could actually use my phone and have phone service. Obviously, I am wrong. Good service according to Nextel apparently means that I send them money every month and then leave them alone until it is time to send them money again next month. No where in their understanding of good service do they include the USE of the phone service I pay for each month. Take an anger management class before you sign up for Nextel service. You will need it! Their customer service is awful. When you try to call to discuss the coverage they change things in your plan without your knowledge.When you discover the change on the next bill, they trap you into an extended contract to put the contract back to what you origionally had. It is worth the $200.00 fee to get out of the contract early rather than putting up with the deplorable service.
