I had Verizon for 7 years with little problems. My son works for ATT so I switched. I did not have a smartphone with VZ. When I first switched to ATT I could only get data on "Edge". ATT recently upgraded the service and I now get G3 coverage. I have no problems with my voice coverage but every now and then it will drop a call, but so did Verizon. Don't believe all the hype from different carriers, they all have their problems. Do a little research for your area and hope you don't relocate for two years.

I have used Verizon Wireless as my provider for seven years now. I have no problems around home and very little when we travel. There are spots in KY and TN, on I75 S where we loose reception for short periods of time, and the same for AZ, NM going west. Overall I am satisfied with my service. I have had problems with two phones I received on their new for two plan. My Son works for AT&T and has signal problems when he comes home. Talk to people around you and ask them how their provider works in your area, don,t rely on the seller,s advice they always tell you it,s great.

Frequent dropped calls. Many times try to get thru 7 or 8 times prior to completing a call. Calls come in 2-3 hours after the actual call was made. I still pay the same amount as those who get good service. Many calls and trips to Lima to try to resolve problems and get better service with no luck and no solution. The people in Lima try to help but are not able to do much. VERY FRUSTRATING!
