New Albany Rd / St Rt 161 (Dublin Granville Rd) / New Albany, Ohio Period! Entire City Limits, New Albany, OH 43054 |

I have had numerous cell phone services in the past, being most satisfied overall here in the greater Columbus area, since I run a service industry job and am all over the city (from Newark to Marysville)... I just recently switched back to Verizon Wireless since I wanted to finally jump into the mobile internet arena and perform some rudimentary tasks (for entertainment and banking only) along the way. Simply stated, since I previously had Verizon back in 2004 and had some serious issues in New Albany, I called Verizon before I made any decisions to inquire on whether they have built any new towers and how their coverage is in the New Albany area, since this is where I hold my residence and run my business. They assured me I would have complete coverage which was about as politically malevolent as ever! Let me say, I understand that this is not on the representative as she is only utilizing the tools provided to her by her employer. However, the fact of the matter is, although I live in a highly populated area of New Albany where there are plenty of high commerce areas with plenty of $$$, Verizon couldn't have been further from correct if they had made attempt to fool me intentionally. NOTHING! Sometimes, I am able to achieve 1 bar of signal, but knowing that I have one of the latest and greatest state of the art phones, which is made by Motorola which has some of the best reputations for signal levels because of the designs of their phones, it is sad to know that I can not truly run my business properly with Verizons service! I always had full signal, all the bars, while utilizing the services of AT&T Wireless, not to mention never having to hold longer than maybe 40 seconds to get through to a Customer Service Representative upon calling in for assistance. Verizon? Maybe 2-5 minutes on average hold times... Saddening and infuriating as I decided to keep their services within that 30 day trial "Bring your phone back if you're not satisfied" period. Do not go with Verizon and by the way, it's not just my phone as my wifes and sons phones are the exact same way here in New Albany, since they too have Verizon.

Spotty reception and coverage out here with Sprint. Also, several dropped calls or network busy messages. Phone never seems to get more than three bars unless you're right on top of a Sprint tower. It's sad, because the calls are very clear when you get two bars or more, but in the fast paced world we live in, nobody wants to deal with redialing callers daily or going outside to get reception. SPRINT needs to seriously upgrade their network and towers!

Reception is ok when outside; however, it does decline a lot when entering buildings.
