Had Verizon and they had almost no service. Switched to Sprint because daughter works for them and reception was great at first and now I lose calls consistently!

When we moved to New Carlisle in January, 2005 we had T-Mobile, as soon as we crossed 235 and route 40 we had no service. I became a major pain in the but to T-Mobile customer dis-service people. They finally let me out of contract without paying. Then I went to Ludlow Cellular in May 2005, made them put it in writing if I did not have acceptable service I could cancel and return phones, Cingular has been great. Use it inside home and all around New Carlisle without problems. thank You Cingular

We live in the city of New Carlisle, but on the edge of town. There are 3 cell towers in the surrounding area, but none in the city. Outside our house we can get 2-3 bars most of the time, but inside we usually get NO SERVICE. It's strange that Cingular doesn't have a single tower IN TOWN for it's customers. We are waiting patiently (?!) for the day we can dump our land line!

I had a T-Mobile Prepay phone. Anywhere near the interstate was ok. Get 6 miles north to New Carlisle or anywhere further north (including North Of Spfld. to Urbana and Bellefontaine) and voila! You have no signal whatsoever. T-Mobile is only good for giving a teen that is not going to leave a major city like Dayton or Columbus. They are in the same boat as Cincinnati Bell's I-Wireless and Cricket.

As far as the city of New Carlisle goes, Sprint phones are on Roam from the ones I have seen. Virgin Mobile uses their network. The old Kyocera phones would roam and so far the Audiovox 8500 and 8610 have no real reception for only being about 10-15 NNE of Dayton Central. It is why I am giving it up ASAP and going to Cingular. It is who Virgin should have went with in the first place.
