Receive good reception all over Newark and Hanover. Have never had any problems with Sprint. Usually run between 3 and 5 bars and good data reception, too.

the service in this area ia horrible. Dropped calls al the time. Can not depend on the service at all. It is unfortunate because I have been with this carrier for a very long time. When I caled to raise a complaint they told me this is considered a "marshy area" WTH does that mean. They offered me another device to purchase form them for $225.00 I already pay over 100.00 a month for this service already, that was my response. They dropped the price to $150.00 I said still to much money. They explained that this would be like having my own tower in my home. I still said no thank you. I am going to be switching over to T-Mobil or ATT not sure yet. I know that T-Mobile works for sure here because my fiancee has them with little problems. By the way no service in Granville either.

Great coverage throughout the area here. Not just downtown but it seems like the backroads even have a good signal. Calls always sound great despite how many bars I get though. It doesn't drop off near as bad indoors as previous providers have. I'm really happy with the service and I would recommend it to others wandering who covers the area best. The signal has been way better than others I've tried, Sprint and T-Mobile and Verizon seemed way to pricey for our family plan and I heard complaints about them anyway. So far, I'm loving Alltel and the coverage is great in this area. I do a lot of running around to the area high schools both near and far and other errands and I've never been without a decent signal from Alltel anywhere in the area. Mostly full signal around here including residence a couple turns off of W. Main, but I'm all over the county it seems like on a daily basis. But Alltel covers this area very well and I now just expect to have a signal and to make a clear call wherever I am.

Lucky to get one bar and most of time no bars

Sprint is a bad idea in North Newark... From Roosevelt School to Derby Downs Area Sprint has almost ZERO coverage. Downtown works great though.

No service. No bars. Sometimes can receive text messages.
