Since I got to Oberlin in August I have no reception at all when I am inside any room. I need to stand outisde to get some signal and, honestly, with this lovely weather, who feels like standing outside on the phone? Another option is to stand next to an open window, which does not make much difference in regards to the weather. Besides, AT&T is not exactly the most economic. I know many, many people (at least 15) that have left AT&T because of this issue in these six months. They should fix this problem, or it is going to cost them a lot.

I live less than 1 / 2 a mile from ATT / Cingular Tower at 13611 Baird Rd. Oberlin, Ohio 44074 and get 0-1 bars! 4 years ago when I signed up with ATT I got 5 bars 3G with no problem. I think its poor maintenance of the tower site. I have complained about this before about 2 years ago, and they sent someone out to check on it and low and behold the tower was out of service??? Now they don't even recognize this tower as being theirs. Go Figure???

dropped calls all the time through vzw only in Oberlin Ohio. Great reception elsewhere this is a problem that needs fixed.

after the Alltel merger the Verizon system has gotten horrible in northern ohio voice and data both have suffered places were signal used to be have non now a evdo data phone is a waste of money in our area

No reception at all whatsoever in the JVS. All other networks are fine. Alltell sprint, t-mobile, but NONE on verizon.

Good reception in and around Oberlin, even in many campus buildings.

Sprint has lousy reception in the Oberlin area. I go into roaming when I go into buildings. Lots of dropped calls even outside. There seems to be little or no coverage just to the south of town.

Spotty in the dorm but definitely functional. Great outside all around campus.
