i wrote back in 2009. All issues have been fixed or updated. Now we have 4g great! reception is great for cell too. No drops and I just ordered my new 4g modem, can"t wait for the speed.

Never had any trouble with verizon. Other carriers are junk. Verizon rocks. Perfect service.

my problem is with the air card goes in and out of broad band I have been told the tower behind kriger is alltell but has been bought by verizen. thougt my reception would be better, but is not.

From Bayshore Rd.and Otter Creek Rd.east to Stadium Rd.- reception is garbage. 1 bar at best, most of the time 0 bars. Must roam to hold a call and that is on a Verizon tower, then I might get 1-3 bars. Problem is with this stupid phone it always locks back onto the Alltel tower even though it is a weaker signal. These companies need to wake up and set up some towers here, had Sprint a couple years ago and they were just as bad as Alltel. That was the whole reason I dropped Sprint. Also have friends who get 0 bars here with Revol. If they stand outside they might get 1 bar.

I have had Alltel for 5 years now... ..reception is generally very good all around toledo. can be spotty out of town... .i was in alabama recently and the reception was so-so.

Never saw 5 bars unless I traveled to a major city. Constant dropped calls, constant "service cannot be used" messages. Horrible. Phone rarely rang, and it would take 3 tries to retrieive the messages.

We have had great luck out here with Alltel and Nextel, but Verizon reception has sporatic and Sprint is nearly nonexistant!
