Verizon really needs to get better service on US 52. The area between Friendship, all the way to almost Manchester has no service at all. This is a major highway that is very heavily traveled, and should have cell phone service.

Never knew of anyone having reception out this way. We live in between two hills, I would love to have cell phone reception though. Please someone build a tower here!

Verizon put up 2 towers recently. They turned on the one in Manchester on 7 / 15, which gives coverage to Ohio Brush Creek. They put put a tower on Buckeye Station Rd.the same time as the other one, but have NOT turned it on. This tower would give coverage to my area. They are supposed to build one 11 / 2 miles west of Rome, but haven't started it. What are they waiting on? I want broadband and cell service NOW!

We have land in this 15 mile stretch in Southern Ohio following US 52 next to the Ohio river. In Stout and Rome Ohio area. We have to drive 15 min. to just use our cell phones. We now have Verizon which has never picked up here. I'm looking for a cell phone that will pick up here without driving. We had trac phone 2 years ago and it picked up some time depending on where you would stand on our land. No cell phone has pick up here for 2 yrs. including sprint, verizon, att, etc. Some body please put a tower by Shawnee state park and manchester area.

Cingular has great coverage in most parts of Southern Ohio but on a section of 52 near Stout, coverage is non-existant for about a 15-mile stretch. US 52 is very heavily traveled so there shouldn't be a dead spot that is 15-miles long. Cingular really should consider a couple of towers along here.
