Have to go outside to use phone reliably. Also, if phone is not left in certain spots in the house, Searches for signal till it dies

Have to go outside my apt to make calls, also, if phone is not left in certain spots inside apt, phone drains dead searching for a signal.

Had to had antenna to phone. We live near Stillwater River surrounded by trees. Someone built a tower 0.5 mi from us. Will switch service when contract expires.

In general poor reception here. I can sometimes get a decent signal in my 3rd floor apartment.
