After reading the comments, I'm thinking we should contact our legislators. How appalling that we sign up for these contracts based on being able to use the phones we pay good money for, and yet it seems common to be unable to use them in certain towns, areas-and be told, sorry, you can't cancel the contract! Especially when these companies tell us that the coverage area is good, and we should have no more than occassional trouble. I think the companies need to be more accountable to the consumers!

Very poor reception here in Weston, also disappointed with alltel's service in the last year of so-not responsive to my complaints at all (receiving voice messages as text messages, for example), Alltel moving from building to building, rude service people-yes Jessica in Bowling Green, that means you! I've been with this company for 10 years but am seriously considering switching companies when my contract is up in Jan.
