3G Coverage is perfect in Youngstown / Boardman area. Now with Youngstown gaining 4G LTE it has been operating in all of Youngstown and extends to some of Boardman / Poland / Canfield.

Horrible reception in my home. Upgraded to an Airrave to boost signal and we have to sit next to the device to get a signal and then there's a 2 sec. delay. Very annoying. Tons of dropped calls.

I got a phone call a few days ago from Verizon asking me about my plan, coverage, phone and offered to give more minutes if I extend my contract for a year. I don't need more minutes I'm happy with my phone and I've not been in a contract for quite some time. I said no thanks. Now, for some reason, I can't get good signal in my house anymore. 12+ year customer, never having a problem with coverage before, all of a sudden can't get a signal in his own house. Called service, explained above comments, got a call 6 days later on home phone (because they can't get ahold of me on my cell?) explaing to me that I need to buy a $250 signal booster that works through my computer router to continue service with them. Or I can renew contract, get new phones, and get the router free. I suspect fraud.?? "How's your service, we want you to upgrade... No? Well say goodbye to your good signal, we'll make you upgrade or leave... " If you read this and have the same problems with Verizon, PLEASE post on this forum your experance and a general location of where you live.

I never have trouble anywhere I go with AT&T in the tri-county area even in my home I always have at least 3 bars of signal on 3G service. If I go out to lake Milton my service drops to The EDGE service but I have full signal out there.

My wife and I both use the same model 3-4 year old "candy bar" style phones - not the height of fashion but they seem to bring in a strong signal almost everywhere we travel. The only very small dead spots we've noticed are on Rt 224 just east of the PA line, on Rt 11 north of Lisbon and on I-76 east of the Rt 14 intersection. We've been with Alltel 6+ years. We"re satisfied and will probably stay with them on a month to month basis (our contract expired long ago) unless they give us reason to change. I figure their "Circle of friends" deal saves us $20 a month - maybe a little more, maybe a little less.

Good luck making a call inside the mall. The only Cingular phones that work inside that building are the ones on display at the Cingular kiosk. I did a side-by-side comparison of my phone and the same model on display. My phone, which was only a few days old, only had 1 bar while the display phone had 3 bars.

I barely ever get a signal and my calls are always dropped. It's a rare occasion when I have a full signal, then to find when I take two or three steps it's completely gone. Literally, if I lean forward in the chair at my desk I have full signal, but if I lean back it drops. But I also hate Sprint in general.

Also holds true for T-Mobile Service. Right as you pass the Austintown Corporation Limit sign going north on State Route 11, drops call every single time.

On a really good day we might get 3 bars listed for reception... But you have to walk around the house to find that. On a normal day we can get 1 or 2 bars. On a bad day, nuthin'. Away from this intersection it gets better, but we live here... We have two of these phones (t610) and I know they aren't the best, but we don't have a land line, so it's frustrating when I have to stand near a window to talk on my phone. I do recommend a bluetooth headset - you can put your phone in a window across the room where it gets good reception, and you can talk from the couch, your chair, anywhere within about 30 feet.

Reception is generally good around Cornersburg. Inside my house is a little low at times but, I can receive from my basement and (although there's minimal coverage) it's more than with any other company I've tried.

The reception in Youngstown and Boardman is exceptional. It can't be beat. Futhermore, I have used the phone in 40 of the 50 states with very few instances of "no service" (and those areas where to be expected). I only wish that their plans were more competetive for national service (travelers).
