works ok in the Altus Area. As soon as I get very far away from altus the phone goes into roam mode and the battery goes dead in a very short time. In Altus the phone will stay in standby 24 hours a day for over a week. I do not make many calls and receive calls only from my wife most of the time. I have owned the phone 6 months and only used it 16 hours total. south of bristow, ok, 4 miles, at my farm, no service, no bars. Previous I owned a Motorola analog and there was no place I went, even out of state that the phone did not work. Digital sucks.

When heading south from Altus right before you get to 9 mile hill, your service will switch to Roaming. I guess that is where the gap between Altus and Vernon begins. I will be traveling more and will have better boundaries for Altus later. Nate

I signed up woth US Celluar in Oklahoma then due to circumstances out of my control am having to move to an area that they do not service. They want me to pay $150.00 for each line ($300.00) to cancel a contract that they cannot service. Where is the justice? DO NOT USE US CELLUAR. FIND A COMPANY THAT WILL WORK WITH YOU!

I was here for two weeks and got no reception unless I left the city heading east. I called T-Mobile and they could not help me at all.
