Sprint 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: Blackberry Curve	Got new service and was not warned about reception in Altus. I have to go outside to make a call from work and from home. When on the road we have dropped calls several times a day. Terrible reception. Sprint is letting us get out of our contract, which is the only good thing I can say about this experience.

Verizon 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG enV3	Verizon bought Alltel and added 3G data here. Switch from US Cellular because I need 3G for tethering. I love it! The service is great all over Oklahoma and Texas!

Verizon 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: Blackberry Storm	Verizon recently merged with Alltel and is installing EVDO Rev A 3G service. I'm amazed that this small town is getting the royal treatment with 3G. AT&T year after year has told us that there are plans to put up an antenna at Altus but no dice. 2-years and the only reliable carriers are Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular.

US Cellular 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: razor motorola	works ok in the Altus Area. As soon as I get very far away from altus the phone goes into roam mode and the battery goes dead in a very short time. In Altus the phone will stay in standby 24 hours a day for over a week. I do not make many calls and receive calls only from my wife most of the time. I have owned the phone 6 months and only used it 16 hours total. south of bristow, ok, 4 miles, at my farm, no service, no bars. Previous I owned a Motorola analog and there was no place I went, even out of state that the phone did not work. Digital sucks.

	When heading south from Altus right before you get to 9 mile hill, your service will switch to Roaming. I guess that is where the gap between Altus and Vernon begins. I will be traveling more and will have better boundaries for Altus later. Nate

AT&T 0 Out of 5	I signed up woth US Celluar in Oklahoma then due to circumstances out of my control am having to move to an area that they do not service. They want me to pay $150.00 for each line ($300.00) to cancel a contract that they cannot service. Where is the justice? DO NOT USE US CELLUAR. FIND A COMPANY THAT WILL WORK WITH YOU!

T-Mobile 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V180	I was here for two weeks and got no reception unless I left the city heading east. I called T-Mobile and they could not help me at all.
