Reception was fair to good on average until Aug. 2011 when it plunged to poor. We were given a number of excuses from lightning strikes to expired leases on towers. I usually only get 1 or 2 bars and have had to disable my 3g on my network settings just to receive calls and texts. I am in the medical profession and rely on my cell phone for emergencies. There have been several occasions when I was unreachable which is NOT good! We were given a micro-cell and were assured that this would fix the problem. It did not. It was sporadic at best. We could call out but it did nothing to help with incoming calls. I am reviewing my options and researching other carriers and will be changing ASAP!

Our family has 5 phones (different manufacturers and models). We were with Cingular and really liked it. When switched to ATT, we initially had many problems. Now, service seems above average throughout the Tulsa metro area.

Reception at home, 81st and Hwy. 51, is horrible. When not at home service is decent, I would recommend At&T.

When traveling just north on 273rd, signal gets better but in this little bitty dip in the earth, can't get a signal, when I do the signal bars jump up and down as if they are the battery bars while its charging. been out here for 5 years and really no real improvenment. T-Mobile website says there's moderate service but I have to sit on top of my car's roof to really get any signal. HELP!

I have been with Sprint in Tulsa area for several years and always have a great signal, (4-5 bars), even at work, near Tulsa airport, when friends with at&t, T-Mobile have 1-2 bars or no signal I have full signal. I keep telling them that, Iphone 3g service or T-Mobile does no good if you have no signal lolz Oh yeah and I pay way less per month for my great service

What has happened to my wireless service! I've been with Cingular for many years and stayed because I was satisfied with the service. Now I"m looking elsewhere. EVERY call I've made or received for the last month has been dropped. Rarely had dropped calls before merger. I called to complain and demanded a credit for the bad service. Customer service rep said he could give a $20 courtesy credit. I'm insisting that ATT give us full credit for our service charges. He said ATT is having technical issues that are expected to be resolved "soon." Surely ATT doesn't think it 's fair to charge full price for service it is not delivering. If this is an indication of its future service, then I will change.

I have been with T-Moble for 2 years now and I am pretty satisfied. Very few dropped calls, although my last carrier was Sprint I was satisfied with them also but my family had T-Moble so went with them with not trouble. I would say that you can't go wrong with either one Sprint or TM.

Sprint has been awesome for me for over 7 years now so much that I have told my local land line company to take a hike. Which in case you didn't know it you are paying a total of 10 different taxes if you are still using a land line. I have had maybe one or two dropped calls over the last 5 years I'll take that anyday.

My wife and I are so happy with Sprint and the coverage, we dropped our local land line and just use our cell phones now. I travel all over and have never had any dropped calls at all. I have been in the ocean out some 30 miles with no troubles, I have been in Florida, and some 30 states all with not trouble or dropped calls. Sprints customer service is 2nd to none also they are so helpful and will make adjustments that are more then fare. My wife and her sisters recently went on a vacation together my wife had her Sprint phone and one of her sisters had her Verison phone and the other one had Cingular well ther were out in the middle of nowhere in this castle and guess who was the only one with a signal? My wife she had 4 bars while the other two sisters phones were roaming. I would recomend Sprint 100% over the others.

I've been with Sprint since 1995, over 12 years now and I couldn't be happier. I go all over Oklahoma from Coweta to Miami and have been all over the USA with no problems. Those who say that they have trouble with dropped calls needs to upgrade there phone or get rid of the old thing and get a new one. I get a new one every 2 years. My entire family has Sprint a total of 12 and they live here in Oklahoma to Ohio and every one of them are very happy. Go ahead and go to another carrier and not only will you be sorry but after your contract runs out you'll come running back to Sprint. I know to many folks that have done this very thing.

I've been with Sprint since the beginning of cell phones. I am a shopper and by far Sprint has the best deals and best reception. I travel all over the U.S. and I have never had a dropped call yet. The thing you need to remember is every 6 months get your phone updated either by using *2 on your phone or go by a Sprint PCS store. I personally know a lot of people who left Sprint only to return after they found out the others were not nearly as good as Sprint. I am not a Sprint dealer just a very satisfied customer.

Using any kind of Sprint phone, if you are having signal problems, usually if you ask for a PRL update when you dial *2, they will flag your phone for that. Just call back on *2 and Claire will automagically update your phone, even if it's an older 2nd Gen phone like mine. Good things about Sprint, if you do the above, they have better nation wide coverage. Bad things: If they take extra long processing your payment, they will put the blame on you for being late and use that as an excuse to change your rate without telling you. They cost too much. Can't use the phones overseas. The NextTel pricing scheme in general is a ripoff. And now Sprints pricing scheme's are starting to match the ripoff rates of the NextTel side of things. Now shopping for a new carrier, as the $$$$ for the contract with a shared minutes plan SUCKS your wallet empty quicker than the Gas pump does.

Although My roomate and I bought pay as you go phones, they were pretty good phones, except we hardly ever get above 2 bars and cingular's reception is HORRIBLE. I thought that maybe getting upgraded phones would work, but my roomates father has Cingular and he's in Arkansas and he gets dropped all the time while talking, and he has a great model of cell phone so, I'm looking at switching before updating to a phone and a contract. BLEH for cingular.

My coverage with Cingular is terrible throughout the Tulsa area. I have dropped calls, spotty service, and poor reception when talking to others. Prior to Cingular I had ATT and had absolutely no problems with phone calls. I thought it would be better with the two companies merging. Cingular reception is the worst I've run across so far.

Very weak signal in my residential area. Must go upstairs and then only get 1-2 bars of signal strength. Complaining to T-Mobile's customer service does no good.

I live close to indian springs and will have 2 bars of service if I am lucky. I have been looking at coverage maps and came to the conclusion that I live in a dead spot. I wish someone would atleast try to put a tower out here. whoever does will get my money.

Sprint service absolutely awful! Save your money and your time. I have spoke with other Sprint customers who have the same problems. Sprint has constant dropped calls both in Tulsa and out of town all along I-35, Norman, OKC, Ardmore etc... Also, they pre-bill and then constantly cut your service off even when your bill is paid in FULL! After one year of this torture we agreed to part ways. Everyone who has other service providers laughs at Sprint... they cannot compete. Sprint and Nextel are together now and unless you want to pay huge amounts for absolutely poor reception, poor billing practices and constant service interruption... look elsewhere! Beware!
