I have to hold phone away from my ear after i've dialed the number, or it won't connect. Sometimes it takes up to 3 times to even get out. Then once I'm connected, it will drop my calls up to 6 or 7 times during a single call. I've tried about 4 different phones with the same affect. I would not reccomment AT&T Wireless to my worst enemy!

I will never return to Cingular. I was a customer with them for over 5 years, and in 2006 they decided that because I spent 50% of my time off their network and cancelled me after I purchased a new phone. They had dropped calls all the time for me and I tried many different phones with them, and still no luck. If you are on their networkl you are fine but off network and they drop you. I went to T Mobile who runs on Cingular networks and I love them, I never drop a call unless I lose signal, and they are cheaper with better plans and service. I like GSM because that is what the rest of the world is on, and only cingluar and t mobile offer GSM.

As WalMart is the only major retailer left in Duncan, I spend more time there than I would like. The signal in the store is poor to non-existant in the store. I have an old TDMA / GAIT National plan and since the buy out of AWS I rarely see 'Cingular Extend' displayed and it now only takes 60 to 70 seconds ( compared to two to four minutes before AWS) to find a signal when I turn the phone on. As far as I know, niether Cingular or AWS have towers in Duncan, Ok. and I haven't heard any rumors that they have plans to move here. (I use to be in the phone business) When I am able to determine whose tower I am using it is usually Cellular One's tower. Ron

Have been Really Impressed with the new Sprint service, I was a Happy AT&T customer untill the SBC / Cingular merger with AT& T wireless. My Sanyo Works great, and with No roaming charges with sprint, I can call just about from anywhere in Western Oklahoma FYI Sprint Roams off of US Cellulars Towers in W OK Notice to Cingular Customers, South HWY 81 in Stephens, Jefferson Counties Cingular has pulled the plug on most contracts in this area, All new Gophones will not call out here, and some new contract account holders out of Lawton have problems.
