Hardly ever do I get any reception on my Sync. I can't send text messages or make calls. I just always get a "Service Unavailable" message. AT&T is terrible. iPhones have seen this problem too, but turning off the 3G network (which I can't do on my Sync) helps. Get your act together AT&T.

Traveling from the Hospital 2nd and Bryant to Home I rarely have less than 3 bars but have frequent dropped calls or missed calls. At home with 3 bars reception is so poor that I usually have to go outside to hear.

I do not like sprint. my cell phone is constantly without service and I do not have any reception in my house once so ever! sometimes I even get roaming in my house!

I've also noticed major changes to my T-Mobile reception. There's a Tower 1 / 8 mile up from my house; however, the cells are pointing toward I-35 and network reception is very poor. I think it has everything to do with what the network(s) are doing to make more money. After all their idea is to make more profit than previous year; otherwise it's considered a loss (stupid). Other problem, I've noticed is that the cell battery doesn't last very long. I have to charge my 4 phones almost every night (Nokia, Motorolla). I've complaining to the carrier and we all need to do the same otherwise, they'll take us to the cleaners. We pay and they;ll enjoy unless there's enough complaints that will make them change their mentality.

alltel suks there reps are rude their service leaves alot to be desired.i had AT&T till Alltel shut off the towers I get no service in my house and very little service anywhere else as for phone insurance? try to collect when ya wreck a phone Alltel has the highest rates on all plans for the littlest service altho service is not as sucky as sprint

I don't know why so many people say they don't get service with Cingular... I have 4-5 bars everywhere I go in Edmond. I'm always able to use my cell... Right now, sitting in my dorm, I have 5 bars on my phone and I haven't noticed any change when going anywhere around Edmond.

I get tired of reading the posts of disgruntled ex-AT&T Wireless customers. The Alltel service (CDMA) is crystal clear in Edmond!

My phone has 5 bars right now which is surprising cause by the time I walk to my room it will have like 3 or less. Sprint has done better when it comes to coverage, but you can't text or picture text if your on roam... which my phone randomly goes on roam especially anywhere from 33rd and coltraine to 33rd and boulevard. Traveling it does fair, I go to Iowa alot to visit family and it goes on roam the entire time there unless I go into a metro area. I've had my phone for a year so it could possibly be the phone since their really not made for long term use. Sprint customer service is AWFUL though I hate calling them about anything or going into the store because they are even worse... if they were smart they would get the new online chat customer service that Dell (computer) offers. I'm looking to switch to T-Mobile but I'm getting mixed reviews and I really want Verizon, but they have no cell towers in Oklahoma.

Cingular constantly drops the signal. Phone calls are horrible as I cannot hear the other party half the time and vice versa.
