Generally very good coverage. There are a few weak spots in town, like any other carrier, but works fine inside buildings, even in actual bank vaults in basements. There are a few problem areas, but they are high interference areas for all carriers due to high local interference.

Though some parts of town have good reception, overall coverage in town is very poor. Lots of dropped calls, failed calls and broken "I can't hear you" calls. Oh and heaven forbid you should go into a building or house. If that happens you might as well turn the phone off to save some battery cuz chances are you wont be able to use it.

The reason why the dropped calls in that area is because of the electrical transmission lines running close to the railroad tracks. It clears up great after that going west or east. The problem now 5-16-2007, almost all outgoing calls are down with Cingular, statewide. The only outgoing calls that can be made are to other Cingular customers.

I am lucky if I get two bars at my house. I have dropped calls fairly often as well.
